Sugarloaf’s Gaithersburg Holiday show runs November 16 through 18 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds -- just in time to find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list!

Stroll among the booths of hundreds of artists and crafters showing top quality work. Shop at a leisurely pace taking time to chat with the artists about what inspires their work. Food stands, kids’ entertainment and friendly faces make these events a great place to refresh your spirits and maybe find those special gifts. If you’re a regular Sugarloaf fan, you’ll see your favorite artists and some new ones too.

These events are great fun on many levels - beautiful wares to admire and take home, delicious gourmet food (with free samples) and on-site live art demonstrations. Watch experienced artists and master craftspeople turn a lump of clay, block of wood or tube of glass into a museum-quality piece. You might go home with a pleasing home decor piece or some snazzy painted leather shoes or boots. But you could just as easily end the day with an idea for a side hustle of your own.

With the holidays right around the corner, let our specialty food vendors enhance your gatherings with artisanal cheese and sausages, gourmet vinegars and dressings, delicious soups, nut butters, coffee and more. Work your way through the sample stations and take home your favorites for the many get togethers in the months ahead.

It’s hard to imagine that 50 years ago a group of local women came together and decided to host a small crafts fair fundraiser at St. John’s Episcopal Church here in Fayetteville! The fair now boasts over 22,000 shoppers, more than 200 vendors and raises over a quarter of million dollars each year, making it the largest gift and craft show in Eastern North Carolina! The Holly Day Fair has allowed the Junior League of Fayetteville to be one of the greatest community supporters of this city with a record of giving back over $5 million to our hometown. And we couldn’t have done it without the support of each of you who attend our Holly Day Fair.

Yes, we have come a long way since those days in the fellowship hall of St. John’s church, but the one thing that remains the same is our dedication to this community in making it a better place for us all to live. We look forward to seeing you at the 52nd Annual Holly Day Fair, November 1-4, 2018! Make sure to wear your comfortable walking shoes!

The Asheville Fine Art Show™ October 27 & 28, 2018 in Pack Square Park is a high quality, juried fine art and fine craft show where all discipline of art is for sale to the public- sculpture, paintings, clay, glass, jewelry, fiber, wood and more. There is something for everyone in all price ranges. The art show is sponsored by Hot Works Fine Art and Fine Craft Shows - a company that has established a national reputation for producing quality juried art shows. We hope to bring the Asheville Fine Art Show to a top 100 art show too!

This is a FREE event, but donations of $5.00 accepted.

A visit to a Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is a feast for the artistic spirit where you can admire the innovative creations of over 300 carefully curated artists. There are gifts for every age group and every interest so  you’re sure to find something that speaks directly to you and fits your budget.

The artists enjoy the opportunity for face to face conversations with customers to share the stories and inspiration behind their work. Our crafters come from the mid-Atlantic region, the northeast and other parts of the United States. They love hearing about your travel experiences and may even have some useful travel tips for when you’re visiting their area. This sense of community between the artists and shoppers is part of what makes the Sugarloaf Experience so special.

Several artists will be providing live demonstrations of their work throughout the festival. Take advantage of this chance to see artists in several mediums at work. See how they turn raw materials of wood, glass and straw into a top quality finished products ready to beautify your home or that of a loved one. When not perusing the crafts or watching a live demo, there is soothing handpan music by Janet Spahr and children’s entertainment by Middle Earth Studios.

Glassique Quilts will be located in Booth 217, near Waynesboro City Hall.

Join us as we turn the streets of downtown Waynesboro into an outdoor fine art festival for the weekend! 150 fine artists and artisans will showcase their works including painting, printmaking, wood, pottery, glass, jewelry, sculpture and more. These artists are hand selected by our standards committee to bring high quality arts and craft to this two day outdoor fine art festival. 

We also feature gourmet food trucks, craft beer, and great local music.

Bring your spare change with you! Shenandoah Valley Art Center is challenging visitors to help us fill up three huge containers of change to help us bring the 416 Studio project to life. A little change makes a BIG impact! Jars will be at SVAC, in the Food Court, and at the Information Booth.

Fountain Hills Festival of Arts and Crafts

The Fountain Hills Festival of Arts and Crafts features nearly 500 artists, artisans and gourmet food provisioners. Over 200,000 visitors are attracted to this event to do their holiday shopping, purchase art and enjoy good food and live entertainment. Many of the artists in this fair offer unique holiday themed ornaments that have become family tradition. Enjoy live music, abundant breakfast and lunch selections in shaded seating areas make this a great way to spend the day in Fountain Hills.

The Sedona Arts Festival is the oldest and largest arts festival in our community which wasestablished as a grassroots arts organization in 1989.

The Sedona Arts Festival produces a premier, annual fine arts festival which promotes awareness of the arts, supports artists, and builds community in the greater Sedona area. We financially support art programs and provide scholarships for our youth. To date, the Sedona Arts Festival has donated nearly $300,000 in scholarship and arts education funding.

Art & Craft Show Old Town San Diego

Get excited to be immersed into an amazing sensory overload as the streets of Old Town San Diego transform into a beautiful art display at this year’s Art & Craft Show Old Town San Diego. This FREE weekend event will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, September 25, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
